2023 SCHOLARSHIP WINNER | SHARON KHO

Hi, my name is Sharon Kho! I am a current senior at Central High School and will be majoring in architecture at Thomas Jefferson University in the fall of 2023. I love hiking, going on runs, reading, playing music, and drawing. My passion for art and HGTV shows exposed me to architecture, but seeing the impact I could make in my community pushed me to pursue an architecture career. As a future architect, I hope to improve my community by contributing to more sustainable cities one day. The ACE Mentor Program has truly been one of the most rewarding experiences throughout my high school years and beyond. The program opened my eyes to just how interconnected different areas are in the design and construction industry. I have made so many connections with architects, engineers, and other professionals in the field that I will take with me as I continue my education.
