My name is Aidan McCormick, a senior at Spring-Ford High School in Royersford, Pennsylvania. I have accepted an admission offer from Syracuse University’s School of Architecture to pursue a Bachelor of Architecture degree beginning in Fall 2023. In my free time, I enjoy playing basketball and video games. My favorite people in the world are my brother and my dog Sadie, a puggle with endless personality. I appreciate the support provided by the ACE Mentor program during high school in helping me to select my field of study and now, to finance my education. I would ultimately like to become a licensed architect and build a career contributing to the built environment. The ACE Mentor Program provided me the opportunity to observe and participate in the collaborative design process. This was particularly beneficial given the limited opportunity to gain this real-world, practical experience through my high school coursework, and it helped solidify my decision to pursue a degree in architecture.
