A Focus on Neighborhood Planning!

Team #9 will be working with a site at the corner of 43rd and Chestnut Streets in Philadelphia, PA. The students will start out with site and urban planning discussions by looking at zoning, land use, etc. in order to have them brainstorm what they think should be developed on the site!

Last week we they learned about scaling the site plan and determining the square footage of the site. This week they will be working to define the program for the site based on their observations of what the neighborhood may need.

Special thanks to our mentors at Penn Medicine and Pennoni for sharing their expertise and exposing our students to such a special project!
